well, reading the 3rd book of the twilight saga i understood that Stephenie Meyer is a great writer! the plot so amazing and personally i really got into the book, and i was identified with lots of characters. i am really really sorry that Ms Meyer won't continue the twilight saga... 4 books are just not enough to describe such an epic story...an epic story of true, pure love...
as far as the characters are concerned i must admit that Edward and Bella are just fanatstic and so special!!!
All in all i think it is one of my favourite books and i would strongly recommend it to everyone!!
Easy reading

Once you've read Twilight, how can you not be forever hooked? Eclipse was very good; you start feeling what the characters feel and there were points when my heart started beating faster. I have really enjoyed how the charaters have developed through these books.
My husband just laughs at me about my addiction.
great book candy

I found myself devouring all four novels of the series in one weekend. Meyers writes clearly and seamlessly, guiding the reader through this unusual and attractive world. I found the whole series to be solidly written and each novel adds its own interesting piece to the story. They surpassed my expectations and kept me enthralled throughout reading them. I would recommend for others to read the whole series in its entirety to experience the full impact of this fun new world Meyers created.
Well written and addictive

I enjoyed this one as much as the first (and more than New Moon). Bella's continuing pull between Jake & Edward grows the crazy proportions. Once Edward was back into Bella's life, I had a hard time understanding the overwhelming attraction toward Jake. However, it seems (or at least it's yet to be revealed) that maybe Bella might be the bridge that forms a permanent truce between the vamps & the wolves.
I loved how the Cullens folded Bella into their family, especially considering how she could ultimately ruin them. Rosalie's story gave depth to a once misunderstood, shallow character and gave new light to her feelings towards Bella. I really liked learning more about the Cullens and their interesting past.
Complaints (not criticizing the writing, but the inevitable character nature): I grew a little weary of Bella's over the top clumsiness, but it's the illustration of her as the damsel in distress. Unfortunately she couldn't make a move without emotionally hurting someone. Edward becomes a bit too over protective & possessive that it almost ruins his character's appeal. While I grew to like Jake in the last book, here, he just got pesky & a bit desperate. He really didn't know when to quit and was trying so hard to "win" Bella over that he couldn't see what she really wanted & how he was upsetting her. Plus Charlie's pro-Jake moves got a bit tedious.
I tried very hard to pace myself, but was so enthralled by the story that I read this one far to quickly to savor it.
Best Book of the Saga!

So, upfront, I am already a Twilight fan(I have a 5 star reveiw of it), but Eclipse was just above and beyond! If you've read my "Fall into Darkness" reveiw, you know that I'm not always an easy grader. But how can some of you say the things you did in your reveiws? It's very rude to an author who did an outstanding job!
Anyways, Eclipse heats up the tension between vampires and werewovles, and when danger strikes, Bella just might be the only one who can save them all, including herself.
You'll love it! This was, handsdown, my favorite book of the saga!
